Did you know that U.S. households waste over a trillion gallons of water per year?  That according to the Environmental Protection Agency, is enough water to meet the needs of Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles combined.

EPA’s WaterSense program has declared March 14 to 20, 2011 as “Fix-A-Leak Week.”to encourage Americans to save water by repairing dripping faucets and faulty fixtures.

“Our customers are often shocked by the amount of water used because of a dripping faucet or a small leak” says owner Scott Ferrell of Black Mountain Plumbing, Inc..”Even a small faucet leak can waste over 300 gallons in a single month.”

Black Mountain Plumbing, Inc is participating in Fix-A-Leak Week by offering $25 off any plumbing repair scheduled this week and offering a full house plumbing inspection at a huge discount of only $59.  “Our goal is to always be best plumber” added Ferrell, “we believe one of the best ways to do that is to teach our customers to be preventive and to value water, especially here in Southern California as the precious resource that it is.”

Black Mountain Plumbing, Inc serves all of local County.  They have been awarded the Angie’s List Super Service Award for 6 consecutive years and have a A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

“Keep updated all week on our Facebook page for tips on how to find and stop leaks.  We will be posting new tips every day that will save you money” Ferrell says.
